INSPECTORATUL DE POLIȚIE JUDEȚEAN VRANCEA

Vrancea County Police it is a territorial legal structure of Romanian Police and represents the state specialized institution with responsibilities regarding the protection of the fundamental rights and liberties of the individuals, the protection of private and public property, prevention and identification of crime cases and observance of public order and safety, pursuant to the law (Law 218/2002, Art.1). The general objective is the increase of the operational and institutional capacity in preventing and countering crimes and protecting private and public patrimony. Vrancea County Police Inspectorate has responsibilities regarding the protection of the fundamental rights and liberties of the individuals, the protection of private and public property, prevention and identification of crime cases and observance of public order and safety, pursuant to the law. Its most important objectives are increasing the institutional and operational capacity in the field of countering crimes; increasing the conceptual, structural and functional modernization in the field of crime prevention; countering the trafficking of human beings; optimizing the international operational cooperation; preventing and fighting economic crimes, increasing the trust level of people in police activity.
